Throw-nut!  is a puzzle-platformer game developed for ages 10 and up, following a basic control scheme. The Escape button pauses the game into a pause menu. The W and Up key moves the character forward from the view. The A and Left key moves the character to the left of the screen/view. The D and Right key moves the character to the left of the screen/view. The S and Down key moves the character backward from the view. Pressing and holding down the control button allows for sprinting which makes the character move with the movement controls with the W, A, S, D, Up, Down, Left and Right keys move faster. The view/camera can be turned by mouse movement up to 90 degrees vertically up and down and 360 degrees horizontally. The left mouse button throws a doughnut which will launch up and forward and fall by gravity and you have an unlimited number of doughnuts to fire. The goal of the game is to throw an unlimited number of doughnuts to have at least one reach the goal. The player will have to be able to think how to use the unlimited number of doughnuts and have enough to have one fall into the goal, using physics and order of operations. Buttons exist in the levels and can be activated when an object is pressed to it usually with gravity. Hitting and releasing a button with any single object will deactivate the button regardless of other objects activating the button. The player can also stick to walls off the ground by moving into it by continuing to be walking or sprinting. By using a preconceived notion of order of operations, the player will have to navigate through levels tailored to fit the scenario previously mentioned.  The levels the player has to navigate through will be varied and will require the player to take in their full surroundings to succeed. This change in scenery will constantly keep players interested in new sights.

Level 1: The first level begins with the player needing to leave the starting room by jumping out of it. Then, the player needs to collect the doughnut placed in front of them. Since this is the starting level, this is the only doughnut inside of it. The player will then find a platform over a pit. To activate the platform, they must simply hit the switch in front of them and the platform will start to move. If they fall, they can climb back up again to retry. The very first platform is simple as it only moves left and right. After they reach the next section by using the platform and climbing up, they will come upon another platform. This platform is more complicated than the previous one but still simple since it moves right to left and then up and down. Finally, the player finds the final section of the level which requires them to mount a platform as it is moving and change course vertically to make it to the exit.

Level 2: This level is slightly more complicated than level one because it focuses more on the platformer aspect of a puzzle platformer game. The concept is simple, use the donuts provided to open up new paths, which lead to new donuts being found, which leads to more paths, etc. The way to open the platform is to essentially bounce the donuts off of a particular surface to activate a trigger, opening the platforms. The level begins at the bottom of the stage and the player must navigate upwards using platforming. After the first several platforms, they must use a doughnut to throw and activate a trigger which opens up more of the level as well as the first button. Then they must go through the platform that opens paths, platforming more and activating the second button. Soon after, the player uses a final doughnut to push the third button and complete the level.

Level 3: This level is similar, relying again on being able to angle the donut to targets, however is on a longer, more horizontal playing field. It uses a combination of everything the player has learned so far to create more of a challenge compared to the previous levels of the game. The player first needs to open up a tunnel to the bottom portion of the map, which is achieved by first going over it and then throwing a doughnut at the button. Before they go into the tunnel, they must throw a doughnut onto a higher platform to hit yet another button, using a precise arc to hit the button. They then need to navigate through the tunnel. Before reaching the exit however, the player must use the platforming skills from level two to travel across, being careful so as not to fall. In the penultimate challenge, they use the very same lift mechanism from level one (moving and rising platforms through the use of hitting switches) to escape. Finally, before the exit, the player needs to hit one last target with a donut before proceeding to the exit. After this, the game has finally been completed.
